We’re hiring an accomplishedMarketing Manager for a maternity cover role. If you have at least 5 years of ecommerce performance marketing experience, ideally from an agency, and a strong background in Irish retail and B2C, we want to hear from you. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ecommerce performance marketing, with a strong preference for agency experience.
  • Backgrounds in the retail and B2C sector would be preferred.
  • Strong background in managing client accounts and delivering results across digital marketing channels (e.g., email, social, PPC).
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
  • Experience in sales pipeline management and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and financial acumen.

EXPERIENCE WITH RELEVANT TOOLS

  • PPC: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Merchant Center, Data Feed Watch.
  • Email: Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp, Yotpo.
  • Social: Facebook Business Manager, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn
  • SEO: SEMrush, AHrefs, Screaming Frog, Search Console or similar tools.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Tag Manager, Google Analytics (incl GA4), Looker Studio.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll be instrumental in both client-facing work and internal team leadership. You’ll be responsible for managing key client accounts, driving business development initiatives, overseeing your team’s performance, and contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the agency. This is a hands-on role that requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in digital marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Solutions & Strategy

  • Develop, implement, and optimise advanced marketing solutions across one or more channels, including email, social media, and PPC. This involves crafting complex campaign strategies, executing tactics, and ensuring client objectives are met.
  • Drive the development of comprehensive marketing strategies, conduct in-depth audits, and lead strategic workshops for clients to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the other marketing channel experts in StudioForty9 to develop a comprehensive strategy leveraging “joined-up thinking” to achieve optimal results for our clients.

Client Management

  • Partner closely with clients to define and execute their strategic marketing roadmaps and retainer agreements.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous optimisation and improvement in collaboration with your team.
  • Act as a point of escalation for troubleshooting and resolving client or technical problems, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.
  • Represent StudioForty9 with respect to all of our ecommerce retail clients.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, providing ongoing support, training, and performance feedback.
  • Contribute to team expansion through strategic recruitment and foster career progression for team members.
  • Conduct weekly team synchronisation meetings and monthly 1:1s for individual career development and performance feedback.

Sales

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and generate new growth opportunities for clients.
  • Oversee the marketing sales pipeline within HubSpot, managing deal creation, resource allocation, client communication, and providing updates to senior management.
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth to hit milestones and department goals.

Operational Management

  • Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing and contribute to financial reporting for senior management.
  • Oversee department-wide operational efficiency, including facilitating internal meetings and monitoring time allocation for client work and new business initiatives.
