About the Opportunity
Our client is an ambitious, high-growth recruitment business with an established reputation in specialist markets and a clear vision for the future.
They are now looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to take ownership of their brand, marketing strategy and market presence. This is not a role for someone who simply follows a plan. They are looking for an ideas person, a challenger, someone who questions how things have always been done and brings fresh thinking that helps the business stand out in a crowded market.
The successful candidate will play a key role in elevating the brand, driving engagement across multiple audiences, and creating marketing activity that is memorable, impactful and commercially effective.
The Role
This is a hands-on marketing leadership role with responsibility for developing and executing innovative marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, support business growth and enhance market positioning.
You'll have the freedom to test new ideas, challenge conventional recruitment marketing approaches and create campaigns that build genuine visibility and credibility amongst clients, candidates and industry influencers.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll drive a marketing function that is creative, commercially focused and constantly evolving.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Market Positioning
- Lead the evolution of the company's brand presence and market reputation
- Develop compelling brand narratives that differentiate the business from competitors
- Identify creative opportunities to increase visibility, engagement and market influence

- Create and oversee multi-channel campaigns across social media, website, email and digital channels
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to create thought leadership content
- Drive storytelling that showcases expertise, success and market insight
- Introduce content formats that increase engagement and audience growth
Digital Marketing & Growth
- Own and optimise website performance, user experience and conversion opportunities
- Drive SEO strategy and organic growth initiatives
- Analyse marketing performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Explore emerging platforms, technologies and channels to drive competitive advantage
- Use data and insight to inform decision-making and maximise ROI
Personal Brand & Social Influence
- Elevate the personal brand presence of consultants and leadership teams
- Develop scalable content and engagement strategies across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
- Encourage a culture of thought leadership and market engagement
- Support teams in building stronger professional networks and digital visibility
Campaigns & Commercial Impact
- Plan and deliver campaigns aligned to business objectives and growth targets
- Generate awareness, engagement and meaningful commercial opportunities
- Work closely with leadership teams to align marketing activity with strategic priorities
- Measure campaign performance and continuously optimise results
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Experience in a Marketing Manager role or a Senior Marketing Executive ready to step into a broader position
- Proven success delivering impactful digital and brand marketing campaigns
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills
- Experience managing websites, social channels and digital marketing activity
- Understanding of SEO, analytics and performance marketing
- Experience within recruitment, professional services or B2B environments
Skills & Attributes
- Creative thinker with a disruptive mindset
- Naturally curious and always looking for what's next
- Commercially aware and focused on outcomes rather than activity
- Confident challenging ideas and influencing stakeholders
- Strong communicator capable of turning ideas into action
- Self-sufficient, proactive and highly accountable
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambitious environment
- Passionate about building brands that people notice and remember

Why Join?
This is an opportunity to shape the marketing agenda within an ambitious recruitment business that genuinely values new ideas and entrepreneurial thinking.
