Description

DESCRIPTION

Hey! I’m Scott, Growth Director at Musora.
We’re an online music education company with the mission to create a world where everyone can play the songs they love!
I’m looking for a Drumeo Marketing Manager who is experienced and comfortable managing a digital marketing funnel and executing monthly promotions.
You’ll have experience building a promotional calendar, executing paid ads and email marketing campaigns, and coordinating assets across multiple teams. The successful candidate will write persuasive copy that creates value and motivates prospects to take action. You’re comfortable writing to people at all stages of the marketing funnel – from awareness to conversion and loyalty.
You understand drummers – their problems, motivations and dreams – and sincerely want to create solutions for them.

You’ll make an immediate impact if you have:

  • Marketing chops.
  • A Growth Mindset.
  • Excellent copy that converts.
  • Enthusiasm for music, better yet, you’re a drummer.

You’ll work closely with the Growth Director to facilitate the growth of Drumeo – both in revenue and awareness. If you’re successful in getting this role, you will be key in maintaining a healthy long-term marketing funnel while capitalizing on spontaneous marketing opportunities.
Every application is reviewed by a member of our hiring team, no algorithms, no bots.
Marketers love a good story! So we’d love to hear more about your interest in the role and why you think you’d be a great fit. A cover letter is required; we want to see what sets you apart.
The salary range for this role is $75,000–$85,000. Most candidates can expect an offer toward the lower to mid part of the range, depending on experience and alignment with the role’s requirements.
Important Note: To ensure you’re viewing the most accurate and up-to-date job opportunities, please apply directly through our official website or through our trusted third-party sites (Indeed, Monster, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Talent.com & Ziprecruiter).

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

We want to harness your strengths while supporting your development – but we’re looking for somebody exceptional in a few areas:

  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop long-term plans and strategies to achieve marketing goals, considering market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Creativity: Innovation and out-of-the-box thinking are crucial for developing engaging campaigns, content, and strategies that capture the audience’s attention and differentiate the brand.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to evaluate campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Comfortable with Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools: You understand AI is a tool that can enhance your creativity, productivity, and workflows. It doesn’t replace humans, but you are a regular user of AI in your day-to-day.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills are essential for guiding and inspiring a marketing team, fostering collaboration, and driving results toward achieving brand objectives.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for conveying marketing strategies, ideas, and objectives to team members, stakeholders, and external partners/artists.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in various digital marketing channels such as social media, email, SEO, SEM, and content marketing is essential for reaching and engaging target audiences in today’s digital landscape.
  • Brand Management: Understanding brand identity, values, and positioning, and ensuring consistency across all marketing efforts to build and maintain a strong brand image and reputation.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Adaptability: The marketing landscape is constantly evolving, so being adaptable and open to change is crucial for staying ahead of trends, adjusting strategies as needed, and capitalizing on new opportunities.
  • Ability to exhibit the Company’s Core Values: Empathy, Passion, and Grit. (see full description)
