Job Title: Marketing Manager
Reports to: Head of Fund Raising and Communications
Salary: PO1 – Point 33 – 36 (£32,870 - £35,423 per annum, pro rata)
Hours of work: Permanent, Fulltime contract at 37.5 per week

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential to have a Marketing degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As our Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the following

  • Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to develop and implement a multi-channel external marketing strategy that supports fundraising, guarantees young people who need us can find us and ensures we are the trusted and respected voice for all matters relating to Youth Homelessness in the West Midlands.
  • Support the Head of Fundraising and Communications to develop an effective internal communication strategy to ensure our staff feel engaged and connected.
  • Line manage and develop the marketing team, working closely with each team member to ensure they are fully supported in carrying out their role.
  • Lead on marketing campaigns that drive engagement and action from our key audiences and deliver these on time and within agreed budget.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies who support us.
  • Work with the marketing team to produce impactful marketing materials, digital assets and storytelling content that are consistent with our brand guidelines.
  • Ensure we maintain a strong, consistent brand identity across all channels.
  • Ensure our messaging reflects that of the target audiences in our strategic plan.
  • Use data and audience insights to shape our marketing strategy and improve engagement.
  • Track brand awareness and audience sentiment to inform future initiatives.
  • Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communication to make sure that all our marketing activities are GDPR compliant.

ROLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of leading a marketing team
  • Experience of working on marketing campaigns that have proven successful
  • Experience of internal communications
  • Proven knowledge of multi-media channels
  • Proven knowledge of marketing data analysis
