We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Leader, based in Wānaka, to take ownership of leading marketing execution across NZ and Australia and ensure Mons shows up consistently, powerfully and commercially. You’ll also play a key role in enabling our global retail and wholesale partners with clearly packaged marketing tools that support sell in and sell through. This is a senior, hands-on role for a strong executor and people leader. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Brand Marketing, manage a small execution team of two, and provide clarity, momentum, and follow-through for seasonal launches and ongoing activities, all while strengthening Mons' cultural significance within the snow, outdoor, and biking communities. You’ll play an important role in shaping how Mons Royale shows up in its home market and how our global retail and wholesale partners bring the brand to life. This role is approximately 30% planning and 70% execution. What you’ll do: Lead NZ & Australia marketing (primary) Lead and own planning and execution across NZ & Australia to ensure strong, consistent brand presence in retail, community and culture. Deliver seasonal launches and always on marketing that drive awareness, engagement and retail traffic. Lead execution across PR, OOH, digital media, in‑store marketing, athletes, events and community activations. Balance national brand activity with local store and community relevance. Manage key brand partnerships and collaborate closely with sales channel leaders. Lead and develop a team of two marketing coordinators. Plan and manage the NZ/AUS marketing and retail marketing budgets in partnership with the Head of Brand Marketing. Enable global retail & wholesale (secondary) Own the coordination and delivery of seasonal wholesale marketing toolkits for global sales teams. Ensure partners receive clear, practical assets that support sell‑in and sell‑through. Bring structure and clarity to asset packaging, timing and delivery to reduce reactive work. You’ll work closely with global marketing and regional teams to align on strategy, timing and execution - ensuring NZ & Australia sets the standard globally. What you’ll bring: 5+ years’ marketing experience in apparel, outdoor or lifestyle brands. Proven experience across retail and wholesale marketing, with strong commercial instincts. You understand sell‑in, sell‑through and seasonality. Able to turn creative ideas into clear, practical sales tools. Strong executional leadership. You’re organised, decisive and great at getting things done. Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment, can operate effectively even when things are not certain and the way forward is not clear. Confident working cross‑functionally and digitally. Passion for the outdoors, with a strong understanding of snow and bike culture. Based in Wānaka or genuinely excited to relocate.
