The Opportunity: We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team! The Marketing Manager will support our team by performing a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have a high attention to detail, and capable of managing multiple tasks with ease.

Responsibilities:

Develop, communicate, and implement an annual calendar of holiday, event based and corporate promotions.
Assist with the maintenance and updates to the marketing budget as necessary and manage the financial commitments.
Contribute to the development of national and regional marketing communications and advertising programs approved by Vice President and Marketing Director. Coordinate with the appropriate personnel with regards to steps of implementation of new promotions.
Ensure consistent image and appearance, including ongoing retail merchandising.
Ensure that all the dealings with the staff, suppliers and manufacturers are in a professional manner.
Ensure that all dealings with the Franchisees, suppliers and manufacturers are according to the franchise Agreement.
Produce regular/weekly social media and marketing reports concerning the activity and quality standards.
Provide a weekly report on what was accomplished (tasks) for the current week and what will be accomplished for the upcoming week.
Ensure and control all marketing and advertising use proper logos, trademarks, colors and registration at all times.
Assist in the coordination of pre-opening and opening marketing activities.
Work with the Marketing Department as well as local staff to assist with the development and execution of marketing plans. This involves meeting to help develop ideas on community involvement and other local marketing initiatives.
Review and assist in the implementation of local marketing and promotion.
Develop, maintain, enhance, and upgrade any Marketing Manual at all times.
Develop and maintain a system with all previous, current, and future marketing materials.
Monitor and make any necessary changes to websites.
Provide recommendations, feedback and assistance to the Vice President regarding tasks including, but not limited to, the following: advertising creative development, competitive, market, consumer and product research, campaign reporting and tracking.
Develop and execute monthly social media calendars.
Drive social media engagement and growth through competitive research, benchmarking, and strategies a 2% monthly growth target.
Coordinate with Marketing teams to ensure brand consistency.
Handle the proper and timely distribution of all marketing materials and ensure that each property is properly invoiced.
Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists.
Assist Accounting for invoices, budgets, income, expenses and generate monthly statements.
Stay up to date with marketing trends and maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times.
Assist in photography/videography of all properties and restaurant concepts for all marketing purposes.
Review and assist in the implementation of local store marketing and promotion for all units.
Establish proper marketing plan for troubled units and quick action for increasing sales.
Assist with the changes of the menu and development of a special/promotional menu from time to time, as needed.
Website maintenance & development, renewal of domain as necessary. This includes ensuring information is current for new restaurant locations. Initiate the development of a company Intranet site.
Engage in social marketing programs, as well as the development of a Social Marketing Programs.
Ensure good relations with supplier, printers, media for best possible cost at all times.

What you Bring:
Post secondary education, college diploma or university degree.
A minimum of 2 years of previous Marketing experience.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office – Work, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
