Description

Job Title: Marketing Manager, Client Services
Location: Houston, TX
Reports To: CMO, Client Services
OnPlace is seeking a Marketing Manager, Client Services to execute strategic marketing initiatives for our growing portfolio of client projects. This role is responsible for assisting in agency relationships, collaborating with internal team members, and ensuring the successful execution of marketing plans within scope, budget, and timeline. This is a hybrid position that will be remote until our Houston corporate office opens; it will also involve extensive travel. The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing multiple marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment. They thrive on collaboration, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and bring creative problem-solving skills to every challenge. Reporting to the CMO, Client Services, this role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities, adapt quickly to changing situations, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; confident interacting with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience tracking performance metrics and providing actionable insights for continual improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and web/video conferencing tools.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, digital marketing analytics, CRM systems, and website content management.
  • Ability to maintain composure, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and resolve challenges with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer-focused marketing, communications, or advertising.
  • Real estate, homebuilding, or master-planned community marketing experience is highly desirable.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass to a background and drug screen
  • Travel required.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Collaborate regularly with the CMO, Client Services, CEO, and other team members to align branding strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with agency and in-house teams in the development and execution of marketing plans, brand positioning, websites, print collateral, signage, video, and email campaigns.
  • Draft scope-of-work proposals and manage third-party vendor relationships to align deliverables with strategic project objectives.
  • Maintain proactive communication with internal management and clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Track and analyze competitive community pricing, homebuilder activities, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with builder partners and on-site sales representatives.
  • Develop and implement Realtor engagement campaigns and events.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting individual community metrics for sales and traffic information.
  • Assist with community CRM database management.
  • Train and inform onsite OnPlace employees on the importance of lifestyle sales and provide key historical information about the community vision.
  • Maintain high standards of service and marketing presence for quality buyer experience.

Digital Marketing and Communications:

  • Assist with agency partner(s), providing direction for the development and execution of digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including oversight of website content, assist with social media strategy, digital advertisements, and SEO initiatives.
  • Regularly audit digital content, including websites, digital ads, and social media platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely responses to customer engagements.
  • Assist with agency partners to generate and distribute email content to consumers and Realtors; monitor results monthly.
  • Assist with content marketing strategies and deliverables.

Team Engagement:

  • Coordinate with lifestyle managers, event specialists, internal team members and Homeowners Association (HOA) managers to align marketing strategies with community activities and events.
  • Maintain proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders, including regular meetings with CMO, Client Services, to review marketing strategies, progress, and necessary adjustments.
  • Support presentations to internal leadership, customers, and stakeholders as needed.
