Position Overview: Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will spearhead the execution and management of all marketing, branding, and member engagement initiatives for the credit union. This vital role focuses on crafting and implementing integrated, data-driven marketing strategies that accelerate membership growth, enhance digital adoption, and support product objectives aligned with the credit union’s mission and goals. Key Responsibilities: Directs development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and in-branch channels, including email, social media, paid media, direct mail, broadcast, and community outreach. Develops and executes a comprehensive annual marketing strategy and budget in conjunction with the VP of Marketing. Manages and prioritizes campaign development and design. Oversees the execution of tasks and timelines for successful and timely launch. Directs content strategy including website content, blogs, newsletters, video, social media, and member communications to support engagement and financial education. Conducts and oversees market research, competitive analysis, and member satisfaction surveys to identify opportunities for growth and service improvements. Provides strategic input into new product development and product enhancements based on member insights and market demand. Leads membership growth strategies, including community partnerships and outreach programs, under direction of the VP of Marketing. Oversees financial education initiatives and credit union eligible grant prospecting. Oversees public relations strategy including media relations, press releases, and reputation management. Requirements Management Requirements: Management responsibilities include managing, training, and coaching the staff of the Marketing department, as well as directing the department's daily operations. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field required. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g. Digital Marketing, Analytics, Financial Marketing) preferred. Experience: 5-8+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within a financial institution or regulated industry. Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing campaigns and managing marketing teams. Experience with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics dashboards. Experience managing budgets and evaluating ROI. Other: Strategic mindset with strong analytic decision-making ability. Collaborative leadership style with cross-functional influence. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. This position works in-office with occasional travel to branches, community events, conferences, and partner locations. Some evening or weekend work may be required to support events and initiatives.
