QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-8 years of marketing leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in marketing
  • Experience with leadership in a corporate marketing department is a must, and alternatively with an agency is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to navigate varying personalities and communicate effectively with creative teams.
  • Base level graphic capability with familiarity of collateral production and use of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Wrike, Monday, Basecamp).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively, innovatively, and strategically.
  • Highly organized with a self-starter attitude

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading a team of specialists in the creation and development of a diverse range of marketing projects in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Video, and Content Production. This role is a fast-paced position with high profile outcomes and plays a crucial role within a team that implements marketing events and strategies that promote PBS’s products and services.
As a key player in PBS’s Marketing Operations, the Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing Operations. This is a middle management position with six direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Management: Ensure smooth and efficient delivery of marketing projects while tracking the workload of team members through project management software. Able to push projects forward to meet deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain communication with internal stakeholders as projects progress and manage relationships with external stakeholders such as vendors and sponsored organizations.
  • Budget Management: Track the department budget throughout the year and process purchase orders and vendor payments.
  • Marketing Support: Support advertising, website, social media, and reporting initiatives. Assist our CRM analyst with various duties (HubSpot).
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with the entire marketing operations of PBS, including our integrated events, communications, and product marketing teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
  • Brand Standards: Maintain brand standards and tone across all communication channels and tools.
  • Internal Communications: Support the Corporate Marketing & Communications team for company-wide internal communications.
  • Insights and Recommendations: Provide insights and recommendations based on KPIs and customer and industry feedback.
  • Sales Tools Development: Develop and maintain sales tools such as brochures, presentations, and other collateral.
  • Campaign Development: Support the production of email, social, and web campaigns/ messaging to promote our conferences, events webinars, and other outreach.
  • Event Support: Support events and tradeshows.
  • Swag Requests: Handle corporate swag ordering, inventory, and requests.
