Queenstown Central Shopping Centre is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead dynamic campaigns, exciting events, and build strong community engagement. This is a part-time role (30 hours per week) and is based on site. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan that elevates Queenstown Central’s profile as the region’s premier food and fashion destination. Lead all marketing activities, including campaigns, events, digital strategy, PR, and stakeholder engagement. Deliver seasonal promotions, food-focused activations, fashion showcases, and community events that drive foot traffic and sales. Manage the marketing budget with creativity and accountability. Collaborate with design and social media agencies to create compelling content that reflects our brand. Build strong relationships with retailers, customers, and local community partners. Stay connected with marketing professionals across NZ to share insights and best practices. Contribute to budgeting, reporting, and long-term planning for the Centre. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Marketing (or similar). 3+ years of successful marketing experience, ideally in retail. Proficiency in WordPress, Mailchimp, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Experience with Google Analytics, Google My Business, and Photoshop or Canva is a plus. Strong content and copywriting skills. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. A passionate, self-motivated personality who thrives in a small, collaborative team. Ability to think outside the box and deliver creative solutions within budget constraints.
