QUALIFICATIONS

· Post secondary degree diploma in Marketing or Communications (or related field).
· Solid understanding of traditional and digital marketing tactics including, but not limited to: on-site events, sales tactics, social media, websites and CRM (Mailchimp).
· Strong project organization, leadership and planning skills.
· Proficient with MS Office Suite and/or Google equivalents, and software appropriate for photography and videography editing.
· Proficient with brand / business profiles on social media; Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, while Tik Tok and X are considered an asset
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a sense of enthusiasm, professionalism and urgency.
· Ability and willingness to learn each aspect of the business.
· Horticulture knowledge, and previous experience in a garden centre setting considered an asset.

· Exceptional customer service, time management and organizational skills.
· Demonstrated strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills while handling multiple projects.
· Fluent in graphic design, photography and/or videography.
· Follow and recognize the changing markets/trends as it pertains to RCN product lines.

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

Responsibilities

· Manage the Marketing lifecycle from conception to analytics.
· Manage all aspects of marketing campaigns, including budgeting, planning, execution, and analysis.
· Delivering exceptional customer service to all RCN customers both in person and electronically
· Engage with, and excite, staff about current content on online platforms.
· Interpret, manage and communicate social media data and results as it relates to RCN activities, promotions and workshops.
· Liaise with staff as necessary to ensure the execution of internal and external marketing campaigns, creation of content and future event planning driving new customers and increasing existing customer retention.
· Contribute to successful visual marketing and event campaigns congruent with the company brands and standards while carefully incorporating current and/or up-and-coming products.
· Own the curation of email newsletters to subscriber lists using email marketing tools.
· Digital Asset Management and analysis including (but not limited to) website, blogs, e-commerce, digital inventory and CRM.
· Assist with Workshop and Event Management.
· Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
· Ensure the business website and all other marketing deliverables adhere to strict AODA requirements.
· Research, plan, coordinate, execute and analyze workshops and events, training seminars and meetings to increase sales and customer retention.
· Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing efforts.
· Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing initiatives.
· Contribute to the overall success of Royal City Nursery by overseeing/supporting other relevant projects while exhibiting a positive attitude and positive work habits.
