ABOUT THE POSITION

Seattle Rep is seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Manager to collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Marketing & Sales on social media strategy, content creation, and the management of Seattle Rep’s marketing projects—including overseeing the social and advertising calendars. This individual is highly approachable and enthusiastic about working closely with all departments including Artistic, Marketing, Communications, Development, Patron Relations, Front of House, Engagement, and Production support for Seattle Rep’s mission and audience engagement goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Commitment to cultivating an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace via decisive action including consistently seeking out opportunities for self and community improvement in the areas of racial equity, accessibility, gender inclusivity, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, social media management, or public relations.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with an understanding of different social media platforms
  • Experience managing digital content and social media accounts for an organization or brand.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a passion for teamwork and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in a variety of different social media platforms and business tools, project management tools, content creation, and graphic design software (Canva, Photoshop, etc).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Tessitura or other CRM software
  • Understanding of Facebook Business Suite
  • Photography and video editing skills are a plus
