We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing within the North American energy sector, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies within the engineering consultancy space. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead our sales and marketing efforts, enhance our brand presence, and drive business growth.
This is an in-office position located in our Calgary, Canada office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to promote our services and solutions in the energy sector, and beyond.
  • Manage or sales and marketing efforts while providing guidance and support to achieve company goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Create and oversee the production of marketing materials, including presentations, and digital content.
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and our engineering team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Canada to garner and maintain opportunities for our services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree: Bachelor of Science preferred, with experience in working closely with engineering teams.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strong self-starter with the ability to work under limited or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
