Marketing Manager, Studios and Rights As Marketing Manager, Studios and Rights at Blue Ant, you will play a key role in building the profile of Blue Ant’s studios and productions across the global entertainment marketplace, with support for select rights-focused initiatives as needed. This new role is focused on developing and executing marketing strategies across development, production, distribution, partners, and launch planning, with a strong emphasis on delivering compelling campaigns, marketing materials, presentations, and partner-facing assets for streamers, buyers, platforms, and internal stakeholders. Acting as a strategic marketing lead and brand steward, you will help shape brand positioning, creative marketing direction, and go-to-market plans for priority content. You will be responsible for translating business objectives into clear, actionable marketing strategies and executing deliverables across development, production, and partner needs, ensuring all materials are high-quality, on-brand, timely, and aligned to audience, partner, and platform requirements. This role requires a highly organized, creative, and relationship-driven marketer who is equally strong in strategy and execution. The successful candidate will be confident in managing internal and external stakeholders, developing standout marketing materials, guiding creative assets such as key art, trailers, social deliverables, development materials, toolkits, and launch assets, while executing campaigns across multiple touchpoints. You will work closely with development, production, rights, PR, creative partners, platforms, streamers, and external agencies to help build visibility, support business priorities, strengthen partner relationships, and drive successful launches in Canada and internationally. This role will report to the VP, Marketing, Studios, Rights and Corporate and is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance at our head office in Toronto for a minimum of three (3) days per week. The anticipated salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, with final compensation determined by experience and qualifications. Core Responsibilities & Duties Act as a brand champion for Studios, ensuring consistent, elevated, and on-brand execution across presentations, partner materials, campaigns, markets, events, advertising, and communications Develop and execute marketing strategies for priority series, productions, IP/brands, launches, and key initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, audience needs, partner requirements, and platform opportunities Own the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing campaigns and deliverables, managing timelines, approvals, workflows, and cross-functional inputs from concept through completion Manage all production, partner, streamer, broadcaster, and internal marketing deliverables, ensuring assets are accurate, on-brand, contractually aligned, and delivered to required specifications and deadlines Build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including internal communications, digital, social, sales, development, production, finance, legal, PR, and leadership teams Serve as a key marketing contact for external partners, including streamers, broadcasters, agencies, talent, producers, and other creative or commercial stakeholders Lead creative asset planning and delivery, including key art, photography, trailers, sizzles, reels, video assets, pitch materials, social toolkits, partner toolkits, and presentations Partner with development and production teams to identify marketing needs early, plan asset capture, support creative positioning, and ensure productions are set up for successful sales, partner, and launch activity Support marketing activity around major industry events, markets, festivals, sponsorships, and partner moments, including presentations, event assets, reels, signage, promotional tools, and partner-facing materials Manage marketing production budgets to ensure we are on-time, on-budget and delivering best-in-class marketing materials Track industry trends, competitive activity, audience insights, and campaign performance to inform strategy, recommendations, and future campaign execution Any other duties as assigned or required Qualifications 5+ years of marketing experience in film, television, streaming, entertainment, or media; studio, production, distributor, streamer, or media company experience preferred Proven experience developing and executing marketing strategies, launch plans, partner campaigns, and integrated campaigns across digital, social, traditional, events, and partner channels Strong understanding of development, production, social media marketing, distribution, rights, and partner/streamer deliverables Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to create polished, strategic, and visually compelling decks for internal and external audiences Strong creative instincts and experience managing key art, video assets, toolkits, promotional materials, and campaign creative Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across internal teams, external partners, agencies, producers, platforms, streamers, and senior stakeholders Strong copywriting and brand positioning skills, with a sharp eye for detail Highly organized project manager who can manage multiple priorities, timelines, approvals, deliverables, and stakeholders simultaneously Experience supporting markets, festivals, industry events, and experiential activations is a plus Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment Self-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment At Blue Ant Media, we believe promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion is everyone's responsibility.
