JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing Manager occupies a critical position enabling the organization to achieve its objectives. Having a strong background in marketing, social medias and advertising, the desired candidate is ambitious, eager for success and results.
The candidate will be responsible for promoting the brand and products using different medias to maintain relationship with existing customers and reach out to new customers. Duties will include developing advertising campaigns, maximizing profits and maintaining strong public relations and brand image.
This role also requires staying on the lookout from supplier promotions to adapt our marketing strategies, but also special attention to the immediate market in order to maintain our position in the market.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in marketing management in retail/industrial environment.
  • Must have delivered concrete results in marketing campaigns. (Advertising, social media, Web reviews, e-commerce, location-based advertisements, digital marketing).
  • Knowledge on tool industry or other industry related to tooling will be considered as an asset.
  • Must have delivered concrete results in terms of sales growth and profitability.
  • Must have the ability to work in an organized manner, have a work ethic where judgment, logical reasoning and initiative are advocated and used daily.
  • Must be able to adapt to changes, delays and unforeseen events in a positive and professional manner.

    The ideal candidate has the ability to travel to Canada and the United States for tool industry conventions, for quarterly meetings or otherwise as the role requires. This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday.

    Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

· Planning, developing, and directing multiple avenues of Marketing strategies to drive sales.
· Overseeing social media accounts and websites to engage existed customers and establish positive public relations.
· Researching new trends and marketing opportunities to put new ideas in place.
· Analyze marketing campaigns performance.
· Coordinating and preparing financial documents for advertising campaigns such as, Budget, estimates and contracts.

· Prepare daily/weekly/monthly ads.
· Communication and negotiation skills to deal with ad agencies, employees, marketing staff, editors and writers.
· Sales oriented; has the ability to develop relationships with customers.
· Interview candidates to find the best fits with our company to build a strong team including job search and managing our recruiting management system.
· Can organize daily clerical tasks effectively (Pay works forms, hiring forms, statutory change, e-mails, action plans)
· Easy to work with and collaborative with stores to facilitate efficient communication.
