Description
About Synextra and the role Synextra is a boutique Microsoft specialist MSP. We’ve grown fast by building deep Azure and data capability for regulated mid‑market clients in law, financial services and accountancy. We’re continuing to grow, with a particular focus on our Agentic AI and Data Solutions practice which sits alongside our core managed services business. We need a Marketing Manager who can match that pace. This is a hands‑on execution role. You’ll own the day‑to‑day running of our marketing across brand, demand generation and content, working directly with the leadership team to deliver the plan. You won’t be setting company‑level GTM strategy on your own (we’ll shape that together), but you will be responsible for turning it into campaigns, content, copy and activity that actually ships and actually works. We’re a boutique brand and we like being different. If you see “doing the obvious thing” as a personal insult, and you want to build marketing that looks and sounds nothing like the beige Microsoft partners we compete against, you’ll fit in well here. You’ll join a business with the ambition of a scale‑up in a market bursting with opportunity. What you’ll get up to Run the integrated marketing plan across brand, comms and performance channels. Execute the GTM channel mix: SEM, email and CRM, organic social, digital PR, partnerships and content. Lead our approach to LLM and AI‑driven search visibility, including GEO optimisation, prompt‑led discovery and share‑of‑model tracking across key product categories. Launch and grow marketing activity for our Agentic AI and Data Solutions practice (Agents of Output) as a distinct sub‑brand alongside core Synextra. Design and refine marketing funnels to improve conversion rates, lead quality and customer acquisition. Work closely with the sales, product and technical teams to keep marketing activity tied to commercial outcomes. Own lead gen, content and performance across the Synextra master brand and sub‑brand sites. Own the quarterly marketing and comms calendar, aligned to business objectives and customer insights. Drive measurable new customer engagement, acquisition and retention through multi‑channel activity. Manage budgets, allocate spend effectively and report regularly on performance and ROI. Provide insight‑led recommendations for optimising budget and resource across channels. Manage relationships with freelancers, agencies and internal contributors to keep delivery on track. Monitor market trends, customer insights and competitor activity, and adapt the plan accordingly. Your experience Required 5+ years’ marketing experience, ideally in a performance or lead‑gen environment. Deep hands‑on knowledge of PPC, SEM, SEO, CRO, social, email and content marketing. Confident with copy and content creation, with an eye for detail. Proven track record managing both brand and performance channels. Experience working with paid media agencies and shaping activity across paid social, search and display. Solid grasp of UX and A/B testing methodologies. Strong analytical skills and confidence making data‑driven decisions. Experience planning and managing marketing budgets. Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills. A balance of creativity and commerciality: strategic thinking paired with the ability to execute. Comfortable working across multiple workstreams and stack‑ranking priorities. Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different stakeholders. Preferred B2B tech, Microsoft partner or MSP experience. Experience marketing to regulated sectors (law, financial services, accountancy). Familiarity with AI‑driven search and emerging GEO and AEO disciplines. Experience launching or scaling a new service line or sub‑brand. Familiarity with account‑based tooling such as Clay, HeyReach or LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Traits we look for Creative flair and a dare‑to‑be‑different approach. Energetic, opinionated and happy to push back when the obvious answer is the wrong answer. Genuine curiosity about AI, data and how they’re reshaping how buyers discover companies like ours. What success looks like At this stage we’re keeping targets deliberately broad. The headline is pipeline growth: more qualified opportunities entering the sales funnel, better quality conversations happening with our ICP, and a visible marketing contribution to closed revenue. Specific KPIs will be agreed in your first 90 days once you’ve had a chance to audit what’s working and what isn’t. What’s in it for you Competitive salary of £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience. Performance‑related bonus of up to £6,000 per year, tied to pipeline growth and agreed lead targets. 24 days holiday plus bank holidays. Pension scheme. Private healthcare, Tech Scheme. Genuine opportunities to grow as we scale, with real ownership of a function that matters.
