JOB OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, this is a newly created role at Tropical. We are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Manager who can deliver a wide range of activities from writing copy to campaign development and management, and from image creation to developing new POS. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company entering its next growth phase and to establish a strong marketing function to support our ambitious plans
The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies for marketing and advertising products, services, and the company. Your primary goal is to increase the company’s market share and maximise revenues to thrive against competitors.

CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum of 5 years’ marketing experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is essential (a master’s degree is advantageous).
· Relevant professional certifications (e.g. Certified Marketing Management Professional (CMMP) or Digital Marketing Pro from the Digital Marketing Institute are beneficial.
· Proven experience with marketing management and digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Salesforce.
· Strong skills in leadership, communication, and analytical thinking are essential.
· B2B business experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design, implement and monitor marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
· Analyse market trends and customer needs to tailor marketing efforts accordingly.
· Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop cohesive messaging and presentation.
· Manage social media platforms, corporate communications, and branding to ensure a cohesive public image.
· Oversee the creation and execution of digital and print marketing campaigns.
· Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis.
· Use data analytics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and to optimise future marketing strategies.
· Communicating with senior management about existing and new marketing activities.
· Delivering marketing outputs on time and on budget, reporting regular updates to the Sales and Marketing Director.
· Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against budget.
· Organising promotional events such as trade shows and ensuring the prompt delivery of materials and products by coordinating with staff.
· Working with advertising departments or agencies to increase customer acquisition.
· Maintain a list of advertising contacts and negotiate rates on a regular basis.
