At Turner Price, we have a great new opportunity for a commercially focused Marketing Manager to lead the strategic planning and delivery of marketing activity across our dynamic and fast-paced food wholesale business.
As a senior leader, you’ll manage the marketing and design team, shaping how our brand, campaigns and customer communications evolve to support continued business growth. Reporting into the Digital & Marketing Director, you will oversee the marketing function – from brand management and internal communications to driving digital engagement and customer events.
A key focus will be ensuring all marketing activity aligns with commercial objectives and enhances our reputation as a trusted and progressive supplier to the foodservice industry.

Turner Price is a large Hull-based food wholesaler, with expertise in UK foodservice distribution, offshore ship suppliers and global exports. The business’s foodservice division supplies over 2,500 operators across large parts of the UK. Turner Price customers include coffee shops, QSR operators, pubs, hotels, restaurants, schools, universities, care homes and hospitals.
Turner Price sells over 8,500 food, drink, consumables, kitchen essentials and tableware items. Recognised for their in-house produce and state-of-the-art butchery facility, customers can also purchase from a large range of fresh British meat, daily prepared vegetables, and quality fresh fruit & vegetables.

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy in line with company ambitions and sales objectives, and within the agreed marketing budget
  • Manage, coach and develop the marketing and design team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches, seasonal ranges and targeted promotions in collaboration with buying and sales teams
  • Plan, execute and measure multichannel marketing campaigns across print, digital, and in-person events, ensuring they support customer requirements and deliver commercial impact
  • Drive performance across digital platforms including e-commerce website, company brochure site, social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC and content strategy
  • Evolve company branding, ensuring brand consistency across all channels, and strengthening brand recognition and customer loyalty
  • Improve internal communications including newsletters and colleague updates, as well as customer communications and PR
  • Analyse customer behaviour, industry trends, and campaign data to inform marketing decisions and optimise ROI
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, buying, e-commerce, data and customer service teams to ensure alignment on business priorities
