Mō te Tūranga | About the Role In this role you’ll develop and lead the strategy, planning and delivery of customer marketing (below the line) campaigns that enhance Westpac’s brand presence, bring our propositions and product innovations to life, drive engagement, and support business growth from our existing customers. As a Marketing Manager within our Customer and Content team, you’ll translate customer and business strategy into insight‑led, actionable plans that shape customer communications and lifecycle programmes. You’ll develop clear, customer‑first briefs that drive strong commercial performance and measurable customer outcomes, while taking end‑to‑end ownership for delivery, optimisation, and continuous improvement across initiatives. This role calls for an organised, solutions-focused professional who thrives on high-performance and takes full ownership of each project. Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring? Experience in marketing within a large, complex organisation. Proven ability to develop and manage end-to-end campaign delivery – turning insight to action. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong project and stakeholder management. Ability to craft clear, engaging content that simplifies complex ideas for the target audience. Experienced working with complex products, regulatory compliance and processes. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field. Experience utilising research and data to gain insights, inform targeting, and optimise performance Ability to develop communications tailored to customer segments, lifecycle stages and behaviour triggers to drive engagement, retention and growth. Proven experience in below the line customer marketing, wider experience an advantage.
