Description We are seeking a visionary and result-driven Marketing Measurement & Analytics Associate Director to lead our agency’s evolution in media and marketing effectiveness. This is an instrumental senior leadership role responsible for acting as the in-house expert and thought leader responsible for defining, elevating, and implementing our measurement and analytics capabilities, moving beyond siloed reporting to deliver holistic, incrementality-focused insights across the entire client portfolio. This includes developing measurement frameworks, predictive models, and experimental designs, while also leading data governance and translating complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for both clients and internal teams. You will bridge the gap between complex data and actionable media strategy for our largest clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Serve as the analytics expert and thought leader for the agency, leading the development and implementation of advanced measurement and analytics programs Define, champion, and execute a comprehensive unified measurement strategy that integrates econometric modeling, user-level data, and experimentation to provide a single source of truth for media effectiveness Lead the integration of marketing technology for reporting purposes, including analytics, tag management, event tracking, website performance data, media performance data and CRM integrations Develop measurement solutions and data governance standards that anticipate changes in privacy and new industry tools Oversee ad operation tags, pixel implementations, and website tracking Supervise and mentor the Ad Operations team from planning to activation Develop repeatable approaches for modeling the impact of media investment on client outcomes and objectives Translate complex data findings into clear and compelling narratives for non-technical audiences Oversee the implementation and application of advanced analytics platforms (e.g. Data centralization tools, MMM, attribution) and advise on partnerships Additional Responsibilities as a Member of the Integrated Media Team Proactively identify and bring new approaches, vendors and more to help grow and evolve the analytics practice Assist in fostering a data-driven approach throughout the agency Model a conscientious, straightforward and dedicated work ethic Passionately uphold the agency brand, culture and values Collaborate among multiple agency teams effectively and efficiently Communication Skills Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and listening skills Demonstrate outstanding presentation skills in formal and informal settings and be an excellent meeting leader Communicate in a clear, coherent and professional manner Work with internal, cross-departmental teams with self-assuredness and sensitivity Maintain a candid professional relationship with other Wray Ward employees Requirements 5-7 years experience working in marketing data and analytics, with a background in media performance data and measurement Proven understanding of the nuances of measurement across key modern channels and the relationship between brand and performance marketing Data visualization experience using BI tools such as Tableau or Google Data Studio Experience working with data centralization tools such as Funnel, Salesforce, or BigQuery Proficiency in SQL and experience building custom models in forecasting impact and design experiments Agency or marketing department experience reporting on digital campaigns and website performance Proven history of developing valuable and actionable monthly reporting for clients and internal teams Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at a time Self-starter with demonstrated experience managing or mentoring a small team Effective problem-solver and generator of creative, innovative solutions Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts to senior clients and cross-functional partners Bachelor’s degree This is an on-site role based in Charlotte, NC.
