POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Marketing & Media Director with proven experience in branding and social media marketing—preferably within the outdoor, ranching, farming, or recreational industries. This role blends strategy with hands-on execution: photography, videography, content creation, and campaign management. The ideal candidate will not only capture and edit great visuals but also know how to position them online and in print to strengthen our brand and drive engagement.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in marketing and branding, preferably with outdoor, ranching, or recreational companies
  • Strong portfolio of social media growth and engagement (FB, IG, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Skilled in photography and videography, including drone operations
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in rural environments
  • FAA drone pilot certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to drive growth through marketing and develop projects that accomplish goals
  • Experience with macOS preferred

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years in marketing, branding, or content creation
  • 2+ years of managing social media outlets
  • past experience with photography and videography
  • Direct experience building brand presence for outdoor/recreational companies

    Pay: $48,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Marketing & Branding
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the outdoor/recreational audience
  • Grow and manage company social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) with a focus on brand identity and engagement
  • Create and oversee content calendars, ensuring consistent brand messaging across platforms
  • Build campaigns that drive leads, grow audiences, and showcase properties effectively
  • Content Creation
  • Photograph and film property listings (drone and ground)
  • Edit photos and videos using Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro
  • Produce promotional and branding videos (short and long form, reels, lifestyle content)
  • Plan, film, and edit content for the company’s ongoing video podcast, ensuring episodes are consistently produced and aligned with brand standards
  • Oversee production of our video podcast, including scheduling, filming, editing, and distributing episodes across digital platforms
  • Design & Print
  • Create digital and print marketing materials (brochures, fliers, postcards, ads, signage, etc.)
  • Design promotional items (caps, shirts, gift boxes, stickers) aligned with company branding
  • Contribute to the production of Texas Recreational Land magazine (design, ads, formatting, distribution)
  • Some limited graphic design projects
  • Project Management & Collaboration
  • Partner with agents and broker on property-specific marketing strategies covering a 30 county area of Texas
  • Input, maintain and update listing data across websites and platforms
  • Assist with long-term initiatives, including website redesign, video libraries, and brand development, promotional gear and more
  • Organize and maintain all media assets, making them available for use efficiently
