POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing, Membership & Events Assistant will support the promotion of all NWAA activities, programmes, and events, ensuring members are kept informed and engaged. This role involves coordinating marketing activities, managing member communications, and assisting in the delivery of industry events that promote growth and development within the Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing (AEM) sector and other member businesses in the region.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a similar role or environment is preferred.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, WordPress, and Adobe Photoshop is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on copywriting for various platforms.
  • Familiarity with email marketing strategies and social media management practices is essential.
  • A background in IT or technical support can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
