• Degree in Economics, International Business, Business Administration, or other relevant degree with focus on Marketing and International Trade
• Good writing and analytical skills especially on economy and trade
• Fluency in English, spoken and written
• Good knowledge of South African and other countries under the coverage’s market and economy
• Assisting Trade Commissioner to create and execute marketing plans to promote Malaysian products and services in targeted international markets, aligning with MATRADE’s trade promotion goals.
• Conduct research to identify local and global market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes to inform export strategies and identify new trade opportunities.
• To build and maintain relationships with local and international buyers, trade associations, and industry influencers to facilitate trade deals and partnerships.
• To assist in organizing and representing MATRADE at trade shows, missions, and promotional events to showcase Malaysian products and services.
• Handle trade inquiries, communicate with clients (Malaysian exporters and international buyers), and provide feedback to management to improve trade support services.
• Prepare reports and presentations on marketing activities, trade outcomes, and market insights for management and stakeholders.
• To assist the Trade Commissioner and office in achieving the Key Performance Index (KPI)

  Pay: R16 000,00 - R16 500,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Johannesburg, Gauteng 2000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelors (Preferred)

Experience:

• International Business: 2 years (Preferred)
• Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)
