ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Marketing Officer at My Finance Agent, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective marketing campaigns to promote our diverse range of financial services. This full-time position is based in our Sydney CBD office.
My Finance Agent is a leading property finance specialist dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Our core business focuses on residential lending, where we negotiate with various lenders on behalf of our clients to secure the lowest interest rates, competitive fees, and the most suitable finance solutions. As a free service to clients, we provide immense value to the real estate industry by simplifying the lending process and tailoring solutions to meet individual needs.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Marketing Strategy Development and Execution
  • Plan, develop, and implement integrated marketing campaigns (digital and offline) to support company goals, including regional expansion plans.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and campaign optimization.
  • Design and manage targeted nurture campaigns (e.g., for home loan pre-approvals and car loans).
  • Lead Generation and Digital Advertising
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms to ensure high ROI and quality lead generation.
  • Monitor campaign metrics, generate reports, and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
  • Sponsorship and Community Engagement
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives linked to the company’s sponsorships (e.g., Bathurst Athletics Club, Bathurst Bulldogs Rugby Club, UNSW Rabbitohs Touch Football Club).
  • Coordinate and promote community competitions, events, and activations to generate leads and increase local brand presence.
  • Travel monthly to the Bathurst office to create on-site social media content, nurture community relationships, and oversee sponsorship activations.
  • Social Media and Content Management
  • Oversee the planning, creation, scheduling, and engagement across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Design content using tools like Canva, and manage multimedia (photos, videos) for posts, stories, and advertisements.
  • Event Management and Promotions
  • Organize, promote, and manage educational events such as Wealth Through Property LIVE and How to Pay Off Your Loan Faster.
  • Coordinate video production, promotion campaigns, and post-event communications to maximize impact.
  • Client and Referral Partner Communication
  • Draft and distribute monthly client newsletters, RBA updates, and Monthly Industry Snapshots for referral partners.
  • Organize events like “My Professional Power Hour” to maintain and strengthen relationships with referral partners.
  • Award Submissions and Brand Positioning
  • Research industry awards, coordinate the preparation of submission documents, and manage supporting evidence to enhance the company’s credibility.
  • Develop strategies to position My Finance Agent as a thought leader in the mortgage broking industry.
  • Website and App Promotion
  • Monitor website analytics, update content, and ensure SEO best practices.
  • Promote the My Finance Agent App (powered by Dosh), increasing client signups and enhancing digital engagement.
  • SMS and Email Marketing
  • Plan and execute SMS marketing campaigns to support timely communications and promotions.
  • Segment and manage email campaigns for improved engagement and lead nurturing.
