About the Role The Marketing Operations Assistant will be instrumental in supporting the Addison Lee Marketing Operations team by delivering innovative campaigns and initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility among drivers, increasing driver engagement, and driving operational growth. This fast-paced role requires a creative mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills to effectively manage and prioritise multiple projects. The role will also involve supporting driver acquisition efforts through outbound sales calls, helping to convert leads and grow the driver community. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations, the Marketing Operations Assistant will contribute to the execution of the broader Marketing Operations strategy. Responsibilities & Accountabilities: • Support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives aimed at increasing driver acquisition, engagement, and retention. • Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective drivers, following up on leads and assisting with conversion into active drivers. • Maintain and update marketing databases, ensuring accuracy of information and campaign performance tracking. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Recruitment, and Driver Liaison) to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging. • Help manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within scope. • Support content creation for driver communications, including email newsletters, SMS campaigns, and social media posts. • Monitor campaign performance metrics and compile regular reports to support data-driven decision making. • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies. • Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Operations team and the Head of Marketing Operations as required. Person Specification: Essential: • Strong Communication Skills – Confident verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders. • Organisation and Time Management – Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines. • Attention to Detail – High level of accuracy in managing data, content, and campaign execution. • Sales and Persuasion Skills – Comfortable conducting outbound sales calls to support driver acquisition and lead conversion. • Team Collaboration – Works well as part of a cross-functional team and contributes to a positive team environment. • Creative Thinking – Contributes fresh ideas to campaigns and problem-solving, particularly in driver engagement and acquisition. • Digital Marketing Awareness – Basic understanding of digital platforms, email marketing, and social media tools. • Adaptability and Flexibility – Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adjust priorities as needed. • Proactive Attitude – Takes initiative and ownership of tasks, with a desire to learn and grow in the role Reporting & Working Relationships Reporting to: - This role will report to the Head of Marketing Operations Location - This role is based at our head office in Paddington (Mon–Fri, 9am – 5:30pm).
