MARKETING OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

The dedicated members of the Victaulic Marketing organization are driven by our shared desire to best serve our customers. We do this by putting laser focus on crafting every customer touchpoint into an exceptional experience. Our Marketing Operations team plays a pivotal role in these efforts. Our focus is on building efficient processes and workflows to ensure a seamless execution of our initiatives as well as administrating support systems.

Qualifications:

  • College degree in business administration or marketing required.
  • Knowledge of database structures and proficiency in database functions. 1-3 years pref.
  • Required knowledge includes Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Excel.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with employees at all levels in the organization and across all regions.
  • Excellent project management skills including organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to balance multiple short- and long-term projects in addition to balancing local and global corporate priorities and critical deadlines.
  • Capability to work with and gain the trust of people across department.
  • Willingness to work independently as required.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to learn our business, our markets, our organization, and our customer base. Should have an understanding of business across markets and regions
Responsibilities

Responsible for administering, maintaining, and auditing database systems to support customer-centric business growth. Support business process improvements and governance. Develop critical marketing and sales-related collateral. Partners cross-functionally with colleagues throughout the organization to produce high-quality Sales content.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Key member of the Marketing Operations team, contributing to customer-centric collateral, sales literature, content management and budget forecasting.
  • Supports and creates internal processes, best practices, checklists, revision control and training documentation for the global marketing department.
  • Supports oversight and execution of department invoices and expenses.
  • Manage invoice approval process, ensures proper department coding, and works with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment of invoices through DocuSign.
  • Provides back-up support for daily translation requests.
  • Supports daily requests for the Digital Asset Management System ensuring data rules are being accurately enforced.
  • Assists in the maintenance and enhancements of Operational Info-Systems as required interdepartmentally and business initiative deliverables.
  • Ability to serve as key SME in task ownership and points of contact.
  • Crosstrain inter-departmentally to support as a backup on key project tasks.
  • Interface with external vendors as required – design agencies, photographers, printers and other external resources in the development and implementation of marketing operations initiatives.
  • Drive strong inter-departmental coordination and communication. Work with other cross-functional team members (Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Customer Care, PCM, HR) as needed to advance global customer-centric initiatives.
