About the role
We are looking for an experienced and creative Marketing professional to join our team. In this newly established role, the Marketing Operations Lead takes responsibility for driving the strategic and operational success of our marketing activities within a dynamic and growing healthcare software business. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, this role bridges strategic vision and hands-on execution, ensuring marketing efforts are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with the Tietoevry Care’s strategic ambition.
Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities in this role include marketing campaign planning and implementation, marketing tools, automation and optimization, marketing lead generation and event strategy and planning, as well as development of marketing operations processes and ways of working.
Strategic Leadership:
- Partner with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing operations strategy.
- Provide insight into marketing trends, best practices, and innovative approaches tailored to the health and care software B2B space.
Marketing Operations Management:
- Develop scalable processes to ensure consistent execution of marketing initiatives across markets and channels.
Oversee end-to-end marketing operations, including campaign planning, execution, tracking, and reporting.Manage and optimize marketing technology stacks (e.g., CRM, automation tools) to improve team productivity and campaign ROI.
Campaign Development and Execution:
- Lead the creation and management of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, events, out-of-home, and account-based marketing (ABM) in close collaboration with product marketing, country marketeers and communications.
- Provide hands-on execution support when needed, demonstrating expertise across various marketing channels.
Data and Analytics:
- Together with the Web and Analytics Manager, conduct detailed analysis and relevant reporting of campaign performance to provide actionable insights and inform decision-making.
Brand-driven messaging:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure and enhance brand consistency and alignment across all marketing and communication channels.
Enablement and Collaboration:
- Partner with sales and product teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices, tools, and strategies to enhance overall effectiveness.
Budget and Vendor Management:
- Manage marketing operations budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimization of spend.
- Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, and vendors to supplement internal capabilities.
Key competencies and skills
- Strategic Acumen: Ability to connect day-to-day operations with long-term business goals and industry trends.
- Hands-On Expertise: Deep knowledge and practical experience in digital marketing, campaign management, analytics, and martech tools.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Healthcare/Software Knowledge: Familiarity with B2B marketing, with an emphasis on health and care or enterprise software.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and manage cross-functional projects.
- Brand Sensitivity: A refined sense of brand-building and storytelling in highly competitive markets.
We are looking for someone with
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years managing marketing operations in B2B or healthcare industries.
- Proven track record in leading complex projects, optimizing marketing operations, and delivering measurable results.
- Expertise in marketing tools, analytics, and other relevant platforms.
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively towards diverse professional target groups.
- Professional proficiency in either Swedish, Finnish or Norwegian is a benefit, but not mandatory in this role.
