Marketing Operations Manager The Role: This role supports the Marketing Operations team by driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the function. You will lead and manage projects that enhance services, ensure compliance, and promote standardisation within the team and across the wider marketing organisation. Key initiatives may include developing procurement frameworks, supporting leadership with reporting and communications, and managing our Marketing Community of Practice. Accountabilities: The role leads the day-to-day management of projects across the Marketing Operations portfolio, ensuring progress is tracked, milestones are met, and updates are provided to senior leadership. It involves coordinating multiple marketing variables across internal teams, supporting the wider function through workshops, surveys, and communications, and maintaining a clear understanding of operational processes and ownership. The role also manages reporting requests, plans communications, and delivers webinars through the Marketing Community of Practice to drive knowledge sharing and upskilling. Additionally, it builds insight into marketing needs, proposes improvements, and implements best practice frameworks while overseeing budgets, payments, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Strong stakeholder engagement is key, fostering collaboration across regions, promoting best practices, and developing networks to enhance knowledge and influence decision-making. Requirements of the role: Degree or professional qualification in digital marketing, technology or business or demonstrable level of equivalent experience Demonstrable knowledge of supporting projects with excellent results. Experience of financial and/or procurement planning and reporting Solid understanding of the processes and tools that enable effective marketing including trends and best practice Experience of dealing effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in a matrix environment. Important Information: Department: Marketing Contract type: 13 months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity cover) Pay band: 7 Salary: £30,839- £33,995 per annum (depending on experience) plus London Market Allowance of £3,300 if London based Location: United Kingdom (London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Belfast) Requirements: Please note that candidates must have the pre-existing, legal right to work in the UK.
