As a Marketing Artwork Process Specialist, you will be responsible for end to end management of process around packaging adaptations from design adaptations to sending files to printer for French BU. You will be managing the adaptation, rollout, final print preparation, external agency project management into internal approval system, color management of brand packaging designs from master files received from sector or Cluster Marketing teams. You will also handle traffic management of the flow of artwork through internal processes for approval. Responsibilities Project Management Communicate requirements for packaging adjustments to design team (internal or external) Develop first concept based on requirements for packaging adjustments Prepare and conduct agency / design team briefing for new package design Perform iterations with agency / design team on briefing Revise briefing following discussions with agency / design team (if required) Align on packaging adjustments with relevant teams (e.g. Regulatory, Legal) and incorporate feedback Align on execution and production planning for adjusted packaging with relevant stakeholders (e.g. agencies, supply chain team) Provide feedback on adjusted packaging Detail and review changes in updated packaging (in cooperation with agencies / design team) Implement adjustments on packaging Facilitate the artwork production process and coordinate to ensure the product(s) are on time in market Submit artworks for required approvals and ensure timely approval from other functions (e.g. legal, regulatory, production) Manage external agencies projects until files are delivered to printer Ensure local and global brand guidelines for primary and secondary packaging are being respected Support the Brand Managers in the artwork development of NPD’s, Redesigns, promotional packagings to achieve brand objectives: help them with the briefings, follow-up timings and approval loops, manage deadlines Continuous improvement of current artwork process Single point of contact for all packaging projects in European BUs both internally and with external agencies Stakeholder management Ensure cross-functional stakeholders are informed / aligned Ensure key information is shared with management to support effective decision making Qualifications 1-2 years’ experience in marketing, ideally packaging design, account management Strong understanding of graphic design, packaging design, portfolio navigation and print industry specifics Great understanding of print process and technologies Proven high project management skills Strong communication skills and proficiency in French & English is mandatory Collaborative, able to construct solutions within a team Executional excellence and love for details, accuracy and punctuality Ability to work in ambiguous and dynamic work environment; is comfortable with risk and uncertainty Highly communicative Highly organized and responsive, with the ability to meet tight deadlines Self-organised with strong prioritization skills and ability to run multiple projects in parallel French & English language knowledge at proficiency level will be a requirement To support informed and transparent discussions, candidates who progress to the interview stage will be provided with information on the initial remuneration level for the role.
