THE OPPORTUNITY

We are on the hunt for an experienced Marketing Platform Specialist to join our team to take on a 6 month fixed term position ASAP (up to mid August 2025). We’re looking for an incredible human to maintain and develop new and existing digital marketing platforms and capabilities across the Salesforce tech stack.
Using your well-established technical skills, you will support the MarTech team in the daily maintenance, ongoing enhancement and project delivery for marketing technologies including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Personalisation, Data Cloud, Sales Cloud & Service Cloud.

This team is currently trialling a nine day fortnight, which means putting tools down to use the time to focus on something to improve your personal health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

  • Deciding of your day is best spent in the office or working from home – we don’t do mandated office attendance days here at Medibank.
  • Leading projects to enhance functionality and usability of marketing platforms in line with the strategic roadmap, delivering new use cases & capability using our full tech stack (e.g. Data Cloud, SFMC, MCP & Core).
  • Administration and technical support for the marketing automation teams, including troubleshooting, assisting with complex & technical use case builds, assisting with HTML/CSS issues, contact management, etc.
  • Assist with identifying and managing the improvement of digital platform processes and technical features that drive efficiency, improve business capability and engagement across the business.
  • Utilise Agile project management methodology to lead the delivery & implementation of new MarTech initiatives, involving data integrations (API, Batch etc.), automations, journeys, cloud pages, MCP sitemap updates & data cloud updates.
    You are a self motivated and confident professional with experience in technology, operations, e-commerce and / or digital marketing, developed in a customer facing organisation. You’ll need to have a genuine passion for customer experience and have a delivery mindset, as well as being able to conceptualise technical outcomes for business requirements and problems.

You will also need to have:

  • Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing or similar studies under your belt.
  • Experience in managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Personalisation & Data Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce languages such as AmpScript, Server Side JavaScript & HTML/CSS.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating business requirements into technology or process outcomes.
