POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Programs & Training Manager plays a critical role in supporting property operations by designing and delivering training programs focused on marketing strategy, leasing performance, and the effective use of property management systems. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure staff are equipped to utilize marketing tools and technologies to meet leasing goals and maintain brand standards across the portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Education, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in property management, marketing, or training roles.
  • Proficiency in property management and marketing systems (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, Knock, RentCafe, G5, HubSpot).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and reputation management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional design skills.
  • Experience with eLearning tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.
  • Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in multifamily or commercial real estate management or marketing
  • Working knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or BI dashboards.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver training sessions (virtual and recorded) on digital tools, and core property management systems (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe).
  • Create user guides, SOPs, video tutorials, and other resources to support self-paced learning and system adoption.
  • Train onsite and regional teams on leasing best practices, CRM usage, lead management, and customer experience techniques.
  • Onboard new hires with customized training plans focusing on marketing systems, corporate platforms, and brand compliance.
  • Identify, implement, and administer a Learning Management System (LMS) to track onboarding and associate training.

Systems Support

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on marketing-related systems including CRM tools, social media platforms, reputation management tools, and websites.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing Director to ensure proper configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • A strong understanding of the end-to-end applicant and resident journey. Responsible for training on and supporting key workflows—including online applications, screening, and move-in processes—ensuring site teams are confident and efficient in using the system.
  • Monitor usage data to identify training needs and gaps in adoption or performance.

Marketing Operations

  • Support implementation of corporate marketing campaigns and ensure consistent rollout across properties.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align training content with current initiatives, property goals, and market conditions.
  • Analyze metrics related to lead generation, conversion rates, and digital marketing performance to improve training effectiveness.
