Our Marketing team has a brilliant opportunity for a Promotions Coordinator to support shaping what our Kogan.com customer experience is like! Focusing on our email channel, you will support with the creation and distribution of promotional content across our email and website channels.
Whether you’re implementing marketing campaigns, listing and promoting new product or partnering with other teams on content, this is a dynamic role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring our email and website content is optimal and high quality.
If you’re a junior Marketer with a couple of years of Email / Campaign experience, or have honed your craft and are looking to diversify into a pure-play online business, this is a great opportunity to utlise your Marketing skills with Australia’s pioneer of e-Commerce!

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:



    • Creating exciting promotional content for the Kogan, Dick Smith and Matt Blatt brands

    • Manage promotion end to end including development of campaign brief, liaising and coordination of internal teams (buying, design and copy) and final creative execution
    • Distribute promotional marketing content across a number of mediums such as Email, Mobile, Website and SMS
    • Create, proofread and implement email campaigns, website content and marketing material
    • Look for new and better ways of working and continue to innovate content for our Email channel
    • Helping our customers make an informed choice by ensuring all website content is accurate and of the highest quality
    • Liaising with the broader Marketing and Purchasing teams, and external partners, to create effective campaign content
    • Monitoring and reporting email campaign results, and providing suggestions or recommendations for improvements
    • Ensuring that all email campaigns are consistent and in line with industry best practice

    TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD BE:



      • University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications or similar)

      • Demonstrated experience working in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
      • Genuinely interested in email campaigns, EDMs with some practical experience to support. If you have some exposure or experience in HTML email templates and CMS systems, that’s a bonus!
      • Comfortable working within the Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop
      • Focused on attention to detail and pride yourself on an exceptional eye!
      • Able to multitask effectively - we expect you to juggle 50 different tasks at once without dropping the ball (we’re not kidding)
