ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you enjoy meeting new people and sharing information about causes you care about? Promoting Arundel Wetland Centre ensures wetlands for the future, wetlands that help with flooding and wetlands that are homes for wildlife and people.
This role supports our marketing team, telling people about their local wetland reserve, encouraging them to connect with nature. Visitors help us raise funds to enable us to make wetlands thrive. Enjoy working with like-minded people, engaging with site visitors and know you are enabling wetland conservation through your efforts.

THIS ROLE INVOLVES:

• Promoting events and activities onsite with print materials
• Distributing posters and leaflets in the town of Arundel
• Conduct short exit surveys with visitors at events and activities
• The option to attending external fairs, fetes and events representing WWT Arundel as part of a team.

Volunteers are an essential part of the WWT team. You’ll get a warm welcome, including information on training, equipment and anything else you need.

• You enjoy meeting people and sharing your love for nature.
• You are looking for a visitor facing role and are curious to learn more about marketing.
• You are interested in learning a basic graphic design package to create poster based on existing templates.
• You have a driving license.
