JOB DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Proposition Manager for Investment Products will be responsible for developing and managing compelling value propositions for the IG’s suite of investment products in the UK. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of financial markets. The position will work closely with our product teams, marketing, and client facing teams to ensure the proposition meets the needs of our clients and stands out against competitors.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM

Working with Consumer Insight, conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in the sector. Develop and refine value propositions for various investment products, including our existing and new share dealing offerings, and our smart portfolio products. Collaborate with product management, sales, and marketing teams to ensure value propositions are aligned and integrated into broader marketing strategies. Working with relevant marketing teams, to develop high quality content that communicates the value propositions of the investment products.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Analyse market data to derive insights that inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Develop detailed customer personas and journey maps to better understand and address investor needs and preferences.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing activity and its impact on our overall Product Performance.
  • Regularly highlight successes and identify areas for improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR THIS ROLE

  • 5+ years of experience in proposition management, product marketing, or related roles
  • Knowledge of Investment Products, and a broad understanding of their regulatory environments would be an advantage
  • Experience developing and owning Value Propositions in a B2C environment
  • Solid Collaborator: experience working closely with teams across Global Sales Offices, Operations, Marketing and Compliance.
  • Champion the Client: embedding client insights throughout how we plan, design and deliver.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
