Description This position will achieve the overall sales goals of Georgia by providing a presence for Johnson & Johnson and JJPF in the Georgia property and casualty insurance market. Tasked with creating and maintaining business relationships with the independent agents in Georgia, this person will identify opportunities and capture market share while spearheading the growth of business in the Georgia market. Job Responsibilities: Agency Management for the state of Georgia – includes all agency appointments and cancellation recommendations Market company products and services to independent agents in the assigned sales territory Insurance products – Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Premium Financing products (Johnson & Johnson Preferred Financing – JJPF) Calling on prospects and building new & profitable business relationships Provide exceptional customer service assistance to our agents Achieve objectives for production and profitability by line of business, including objectives related to submissions, written premium, retention, and service. Develop and communicate products for expansion to the Agencies Maintain and develop new relationships and enhance presence of J&J within the insurance association community (Big I, PIA, etc.) Attendance at all state and local industry conferences Weekly Reporting of sales calls and activities planned and completed Attend certain Company, Sales, and Training meetings as scheduled by the CMO · Any other duties as assigned Education and Work Experience: An RMI degree is preferred or any combination of education and experience to be successful in the position Active Insurance license preferred but not required Knowledge Skills & Abilities: · Must be able to work independently · Self-starter · Motivated by success · Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills · Technical competencies in Microsoft Office Suite · Extensive travel required · Strong negotiation skills · Excellent time management skills and a passion for marketing. · Strong relationship building skills · Demonstrated and proven presentation skills · Dedication to excellent customer service · Professional attitude and approach · Business-like appearance · Organized and efficient with good attention to detail · Able to work under pressure and handle difficult situations with thoughtfulness & maturity · Flexibility with hours and scheduling; some weekend work is required · Ability to travel in the car for long periods of time · Ability to make all travel arrangements and weekly scheduling of agencies to be visited · Adaptable · A thorough understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance market · Must have and maintain valid driver’s license and be eligible for company auto insurance. Typical Physical Demands: · Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting-up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.
