Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Reporting to a Marketing Manager, you will be a key player responsible for coordinating and implementing a wide range of Shoppers Drug Mart’s marketing activities, from brand building campaigns involving our charity foundation, to category marketing strategies, and shopper marketing programs partnering with leading consumer brands (eg. P&G, L’Oreal, Unilever, etc)
  • Work in a dynamic team setting, closely collaborating with a wide group of internal partners such Category Management, Merchandising, Operations, Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health, Analytics, in-house agencies, and other businesses within the greater Loblaw organization such as President’s Choice and Life brand teams
  • Develop a strong foundation in brand management, insight/analytics and retail marketing through working on one of Canada’s most trusted brands - Shoppers Drug Mart.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executing briefs through the lens of the SDM brand
  • Organizing spreadsheets, product details, product images
  • Reviewing and approving vendor and internal artwork (print and digital)
  • Create web/email schedules and link plans
  • User testing of digital assets (web & email)
  • Assist with:
  • Execution of consumer brand marketing partnership programs that can include in-store, digital, and out of home tactics.
  • Execution of strategic campaigns on key categories and corporate charity initiatives

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

  • Demonstrated passion for customer & consumer-centric retail and brand marketing
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
