Job Description This role is based in our 240 Blackfriars Road office. Informa Connect Tech Events is seeking a talented Segmentation Specialist to join our Automation & Segmentation team. This role is pivotal in supporting segmentation requests for marketing campaigns, collaborating with various teams to drive effective strategies. By leveraging data and segmentation tools, the Segmentation Specialist will optimize email marketing efforts and ensure data quality to enhance campaign performance. What you'll do: Email Segmentation: Create targeted email segments using Eloqua and Treasure Data tools. Database Queries: Develop and manage segmentation queries to refine targeting strategies. Data Quality: Conduct audits to ensure data accuracy, normalization, and cleanliness. Campaign Analysis: Analyze segmentation data to inform campaign strategies, including source attribution and audience propensities. Lead Scoring: Support the development of lead scoring models to improve targeting precision. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and brand teams to define target audiences and deliver personalized content. Reporting: Provide database reports to support pre-sell planning and sales pitches. Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to data collection, usage, and retention policies. Knowledge Sharing: Participate in cross-functional training sessions to promote alignment and best practices. Qualifications What you'll bring: Minimum of 2 years of experience in segmentation or database operations. Proficiency in creating and managing segment queries. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Basic understanding of target audiences and personas to inform segmentation strategies. Foundational knowledge of Eloqua for email marketing and automation.
