Description
Description 365 Retail Markets is the global leader in unattended retail technology. Founded in 2008, 365 provides a full suite of best-in-class, self-service technologies for food service operators and locations managing their own food service operations, including end-to-end integrated SaaS software, payment processing, and point-of-sale hardware. Today, our solutions autonomously power food retail spaces at corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, and hospitality settings worldwide. We are seeking a Marketing Specialist based in the UK to drive our marketing activities across the UK and European markets, including both hardware and software products. This role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to learn and manage a diverse range of responsibilities, from content creation to event execution. Reporting to the U.S.-based VP of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Specialist will focus on executing UK/EU-specific marketing strategies. This role requires a blend of creative content development and meticulous event coordination to support business growth in the region. Responsibilities Content & Communications Narrative Development: Craft compelling narratives around 365’s success with current UK/EU customers and opportunities for new vertical expansion. Content Creation: Write and edit engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters, and internal communications. Long-form Content: Draft white papers, blog posts, thought leadership pieces, and case studies featuring current clients. Editorial Management: Manage an editorial calendar to ensure consistent content flow that aligns with global marketing initiatives, including paid media opportunities. Creative Requests: If the candidate lacks graphic design experience, they will focus on submitting clear, timely requests to the existing graphics team; if they possess design skills, they must strictly adhere to brand standards. Corporate Events & Tradeshows Event Execution: Plan, organize, and execute UK/EU marketing and sales events, including tradeshows and customer events. Logistics Management: Coordinate all event facets from inception to completion, including vendor procurement, booth assets, collateral, shipping, lead capture, and on-site execution. Sales Enablement Support: Partner closely with regional Sales teams to ensure events and campaigns are aligned to revenue goals, target accounts, and regional priorities. ROI Tracking: Evaluate data and track spending to determine the ROI and success of regional events. Product & Campaign Execution Regional Campaign Activation: Execute UK/EU-specific marketing campaigns tied to product launches, promotions, and key business initiatives. Message Translation & Localization: Translate global product messaging into regionally compelling value propositions that resonate with UK/EU buyers and decision-makers. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure regional alignment and timely execution. Sales Enablement & Regional Sales Support Collateral Development: Create, localize, and maintain sales enablement assets including presentations, one-pagers, digital brochures, product overviews, case studies, and event-specific materials. Sales-Requested Assets: Respond to sales-driven requests for custom or semi-custom marketing materials to support active opportunities, key accounts, and regional initiatives. Message Alignment: Ensure all sales-facing materials reflect current product messaging, positioning, and brand standards. Requirements Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 2+ years in corporate marketing, content creation, or event coordination. Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills. Expert organizational and time-management skills with a high attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word). Adaptable, quick learner with a self-motivated, assertive, and productive approach. Ability to handle physical demands of events, such as long hours on feet and lifting up to 50 lbs. Travel: Up to 25% for events and tradeshows across the UK/EU
