Position & Perks The Marketing Specialist helps develop, track, execute, and monitor Community Marketing programs. They will be a Brand Champion by building brand awareness and creating community connections through networking, fundraisers, relationship building and grassroots marketing activities at the local level for all of our restaurant brands. The position will also include occasional nights and weekends and between 30-50% travel (use of personal vehicle with reinbursement) to our restaurant locations throughout NJ and NY for marketing/community events. You will be working out of our Allendale NJ corporate support center when you are not in the field at meetings, supporting brands events, or doing other community events/activites. Responsibilities Partner with Operations leaders to plan and execute community connection and promotional activities. Source, develop and support community connections and partnerships with local schools, non-profit organizations, businesses, and other community organizations. Support and participate in restaurant community connection and promotional activities (will include some nights and weekends). Ensure concept integrity and consistency in all local messaging and promotions. Develop and distribute community concept collateral materials. Main focus on Community Marketing, tracking and outreach and Marketing Department Assistance Responsible for office mailings, sponsorship, fundraiser and youth incentive program management Assistance with photoshoots and local events Asset Management Coordinate & develop PR strategy in partnership with Operations Coordinate with Operations lead to finalize and proof outreach content, layout and pricing Provide ROI analytics and other metrics to measure effectiveness of activities and budget spend. Participate in cross-functional teams as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or a related field 1-3 years field marketing experience in the Restaurant, Beverage, Hospitality, or Retail industry required Multi-unit / site support strongly preferred Exceptional communication and presentation skills Live local to our corporate support center in Allendale NJ Self starter with a passion and flair for networking. Fluent collaborator with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others. Highly organized and detailed leader with an ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong Social Networking presence, influence and know how Creative thinker with hands on approach. Food and beverage professional or enthusiast. Strong professional presence, judgment and decision making. General understanding of business principles.
