Description
As the Marketing Specialist at ALVA, you will play a vital role in bridging our cutting-edge technology with market-facing technical communication. This position requires a unique blend of technical fluency, digital competence, and marketing creativity. You will develop and manage ALVA’s website presence, communicate complex motor technologies through compelling content, and collaborate across teams and partners to support strategic commercial initiatives. You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and work closely with our internal Marketing Specialist and external communication partners. You’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing Specialist, who supports all aspects of your work - offering guidance, input, and teamwork across web and content projects. Key Responsibilities Technical Content Creation Write, edit, and publish high-quality technical articles, whitepapers, and marketing materials related to electric motor technology. You’ll be supported by and collaborate with the Marketing Lead to ensure consistency and alignment. Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to accurately translate technical insights into clear and engaging marketing content. Create content tailored to different audience segments, including customers, partners, and investors. Strategic Marketing Support Align content and messaging with ALVA’s commercial strategy and product roadmap. Assist in launching new products, producing technical brochures, presentations, and campaign materials. Evaluate web and content performance metrics to continuously improve marketing effectiveness in collaboration with the internal Marketing Lead. Assist and support trade shows and events. Required Qualifications Proven experience in managing web hosting, development suppliers, and related digital infrastructure. Deep understanding and usage of tools for content creation Understanding of electric motor technology or related fields in precision engineering or mechatronics. Excellent English writing skills, especially for technical content. Self-driven, structured, and capable of managing multiple projects independently. Located in or willing to relocate to Trondheim Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the electric motor or power electronics industry. Background in engineering, physics, or related technical discipline. Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and digital marketing best practices. Experience with product positioning, competitive research, or technical product marketing is a plus. Enjoys working closely with a dedicated marketing lead, supporting technical storytelling and digital platform execution. Additional European languages are considered a strong asset. Proficiency at usage of AI tools such as agents.
