THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a marketing role, with a solid grasp of marketing principles and the confidence to guide projects and advise stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, demonstrating an organised, team-oriented approach with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and keep everything on track and on budget.
  • Excellent administrative and digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience creating effective marketing collateral across multiple platforms—print, digital, video, and more—while staying within budget and timelines.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and collaborative spirit, committed to producing high-quality, impactful work.
  • Personally committed to the Christian faith. There’s an occupational requirement for the holder of this role to be a practising Christian, in order to promote Compassion’s ethos and help others to experience, explore and express the faith-based motivation of our work. As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic Comms Team where ideas come to life. You’ll drive high-impact projects from the ground up, shaping standout campaigns that connect powerfully with our sponsors and donors.
