Description

Mater Foundation are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join the team! This permanent, full-time role will be based at our Newstead office.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the marketing delivery of a portfolio of community fundraising campaigns while playing a key role in shaping and optimising supporter communications through email marketing, audience segmentation, personalisation and marketing automation.

The portfolio currently includes iconic fundraising campaigns such as the Noosa Triathlon, Smiddy Cycle Challenge and the Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle for Cancer, together with a range of community fundraising initiatives that engage supporters and drive fundraising outcomes.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Digital & Campaigns, you'll work closely with stakeholders across Mater Foundation to coordinate campaign activity, manage priorities and deliver high-quality marketing outcomes that strengthen supporter engagement and fundraising performance.

A significant focus of this role is the planning, development and execution of targeted email marketing campaigns and automated supporter journeys. Leveraging data insights, audience segmentation and personalisation, you'll deliver relevant and engaging communications that support acquisition, participation, fundraising, retention and long-term supporter loyalty.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of campaigns, building strong stakeholder relationships and combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

We're looking for a marketer who is equally comfortable developing campaign plans as they are building email journeys, analysing performance metrics and identifying opportunities to continuously improve the supporter experience through data-driven marketing.

Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the marketing strategy and delivery of assigned community fundraising campaigns
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Corporate & Community Engagement, Marketing and Business Support
  • Develop and deliver email and SMS campaigns through Braze, including audience segmentation, journey mapping and automation
  • Lead year-round supporter email engagement and stewardship activity to strengthen retention and email deliverability
  • Develop and schedule organic social media content across Facebook and Instagram
  • Develop campaign website copy and content to support campaign rollout
  • Create digital marketing assets in Canva for email, social media and website
  • Manage campaign plans, timelines and dependencies to keep activity on track
  • Monitor campaign and channel performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve results
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture
