POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Specialist will support EIP’s strategic communications, digital presence, and stakeholder engagement efforts across a range of clean energy programs. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing materials and campaigns that promote EIP’s services, elevate our brand, and support client programs and outreach activities. Projects will include developing marketing collateral, managing website content, social media coordination, and supporting marketing for programs targeting diverse stakeholders.
Note: Open to hiring at Senior Marketing Specialist level for the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field and 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
  • Design and content creation skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and experience creating high-quality written and visual content.
  • Digital platform proficiency: Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress), CRM/email platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp), and social media tools.
  • Strong writing and editing abilities with attention to tone, accuracy, and clarity across different audiences, along with a strong understanding of brand voice and how to tailor messaging.
  • Project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in clean energy, utilities, or sustainability sectors with an understanding of program marketing regulations and customer segments.
  • Strong graphic design capabilities and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Analytical skills, including use of tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot reporting dashboards.
  • Multicultural marketing capabilities, including experience developing materials for multilingual or diverse community audiences.
  • Media skills, including basic video editing and photography capabilities.

Responsibilities

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

  • Develop and maintain high-quality marketing collateral that clearly communicates the value of EIP programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Enhance EIP’s digital presence through regular content updates to the company website and engagement on social media platforms.
  • Support marketing needs across programs by creating tailored outreach materials for clients, contractors, communities, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent and professional branding across all visual and written materials for internal and external use.
  • Contribute to marketing strategy and performance improvement by monitoring metrics and recommending refinements to maximize impact.

DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and manage marketing materials such as fact sheets, sell sheets, PowerPoint presentations, infographics, and email templates.
  • Update and maintain the company website including project profiles, news items, team bios, service descriptions, and case studies.
  • Manage social media accounts including scheduling content, writing posts, selecting imagery, and engaging with followers.
  • Translate technical content into visually compelling and easy-to-understand formats that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Support program marketing and outreach by developing flyers, toolkits, stakeholder communications, and public-facing content.
  • Develop event materials such as signage, promotional graphics, handouts, and registration materials.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators including website traffic, social media engagement, and email campaign performance.
  • Maintain and enforce brand consistency across all platforms, ensuring alignment with EIP and client branding guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with program goals and timelines.
