Company Introduction: T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 37 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 14 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.

The Role: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist (Event Marketing) is responsible for developing and executing creative concepts for a variety of marketing initiatives, including integrated marketing campaigns, in-store promotional events, POSM communication, and enhancing consumer shopping experiences. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives and deliver impactful, brand-driven campaigns.

  • Major Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and department partners to develop and execute impactful marketing events.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage retail marketing events, ensuring clear communication across departments, vendor coordination, and effective timeline management.
  • Develop, localize, and oversee the production of POSM and other event-related marketing materials across multiple channels.
  • Monitor and evaluate event performance, providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and internal/external stakeholders to enhance event reach and effectiveness
  • Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, and relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in integrated marketing
  • Proven experience in marketing coordination and cross-department communication
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated success in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns
  • Comprehensive understanding of both Western and Asian cultures
  • Previous retail business experience is highly desirable
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English and the ability to read and write Chinese for creating and reviewing Chinese-language promotional materials.
