The Marketing Specialist reports to the Marketing Director and works directly with the Marketing team to support and activate marketing strategies and campaigns across the Artex customer segments. The Artex Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and executing multiple marketing projects and initiatives to support a variety of global marketing needs. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with Gallagher centralized resources in the coordination of key marketing activities and programs, including content and collateral development, email campaigns, events, advertising, website updates and enhancements, and social media. How you'll make an impact To be successful in this role, the candidate will bring enthusiasm and creative ideas for B2B marketing strategies, campaigns, and content. Exceptional attention-to-detail, organizational skills, and project management skills will be critical. Strong written and verbal communication, coupled with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential. Establishment and building of strong relationships across internal marketing resources. Project management of marketing strategies and campaigns in support of Divisional marketing/sales plans and goals, including the creation and management of project timelines. Support with the development and design of company and business unit marketing literature (brochures, advertisements, reports, newsletters etc.). Review and update marketing infrastructure which may include database system/s and external website. Develop written and visual content and campaigns for social media. Branded merchandise sourcing and inventory management. Provide support for Artex-hosted and industry events, including organizing tradeshow booth logistics, shipping, and branding/advertising needs. Marketing campaign coordination and activation. Timeline management and status reporting. Campaign monitoring and reporting including via Salesforce, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn. Tracking and measuring effectiveness of marketing efforts across multiple platforms. Coordinating the approval process with internal stakeholders. Ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency of corporate brand standards. Promoting cross-marketing opportunities - encouraging greater learning, communication and sharing of ideas across the Gallagher marketing community. Competitive analysis (as needed). Industry analysis and prospect research (when necessary). Email inbox monitoring and management (as needed). Other duties as assigned by the Artex Marketing Director. About you Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, and 3 years relevant experience in B2B marketing. Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Workfront or other project management software/applications. Familiarity with Salesforce a plus. Proven record of successful multi-project management. Experience creating and managing detailed work plans based on defined scope and objectives. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills and experience. Excellent communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience developing successful social media content and campaigns; Familiarity with Oktopost or other social media management platforms a plus. Event management experience, including working with third-party vendors and event organizers for event logistics, shipping and planning purposes. Experience managing integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including paid, earned and owned media channels. Experience creating and managing marketing scorecards, dashboards or other relevant reports. Experience managing project and event budgets. Insurance industry experience preferred.
