POSITION OVERVIEW:

La Tienda is seeking a creative and organized Marketing Specialist (MS) to join our team. This role requires a technically skilled professional with experience in marketing platforms, a strong understanding of current trends and the ability to adapt across various disciplines. The ideal candidate will excel at creating engaging content, executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and customer engagement and contributing to revenue growth. A keen eye for design, basic photo and video editing skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and superior organizational abilities are essential for success in this role.
This position reports to the Email and Web Marketing Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education & Experience: BA/BS degree in marketing, business or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends and develop solutions to drive business growth and development.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Proven track record of working effectively within cross-functional teams, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Word, Excel (including V-lookups, formulas and Pivot Tables) PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for basic photo editing, graphic design and content creation.
  • Social Media Expertise: Experience in managing and maintaining social media platforms, including content creation, posting, community engagement and account optimization.
  • Time Management & Organization: Exceptional multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Confidentiality: Strong discretion in handling and maintaining sensitive and confidential information.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a dynamic environment.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with active listening and strong quantitative analysis abilities.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility: Comfortable with shifting priorities and schedules in a dynamic work environment, demonstrating resilience and the ability to adapt quickly.
