Description
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager in the execution of marketing campaigns and strategies, coordinating corporate events, and supporting campus needs to execute local events.   Activities will include managing communication with marketing vendors, marketing purchases, direct marketing execution, event planning, open houses, and community outreach programs when needed. This position will develop and nurture connections with individuals, businesses, and organizations in promoting the image of the schools and the brand in a positive way.   Additionally, is responsible for supporting the implementation of the public relations plans. Develop sponsorship/trade/business arrangements and relationships with businesses, individuals, and organizations interested in supporting the events and the Institution. Essential duties and responsibilities:  * Work closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to develop effective marketing plans and strategies to achieve company goals, including promotion marketing channels, events, direct marketing campaigns or campaign creatives * Support and implement the marketing department's initiatives, campaigns, and activities with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as direct marketing, events, or content marketing * Support promotional items purchases and marketing print materials to support marketing and students’ services and manage storage and distribution * Responsible for ensuring that the Admissions teams at the campuses have the materials needed to guide prospective students.  * Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness * Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing materials and products needed * Supports special events at the campuses by coordinating meetings and training, including logistics and pertinent presentations * Ensure the tasks and deadlines are met, as well as ensuring that the objectives and goals of the marketing department are being achieved * Analyze and report on the results of marketing activities and efforts, offering recommendations and suggestions to improve future performance  * Assist with developing and managing content, marketing programs, and public relations efforts. * Manage the creation of marketing materials: manage the proofreading, compliance approval process and content distribution to ensure consistent voice and a full marketing compliance. * Maintain updated inventory of promotional materials & gifts, catalogs, enrollment contracts, “lead" cards, and other related materials   Education/Experience and Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields * Minimum of two (2) years of experience in  a Marketing and Sales Department  * Project plan management skills * Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of individuals. * Must possess extremely strong ethics.  * Availability for a flexible work schedule to meet business objectives. * Strong and confident communicator with excellent presentation skills. * Teamwork-oriented. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * An ongoing customer focus. * Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. * Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office products). * Ability to use, understand, and create Excel reports.
