Marketing Specialist- (Part Time- 1 Year Contract)

JOB SUMMARY

As the Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing the marketing strategy for Compass Food Sales and its newest brand, Simply The Goodz and any other brands sold by Compass Food Sales. This hybrid role involves managing social media strategies, driving new product innovation, preparing sales materials, and supporting ad hoc marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS

• Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the food industry or consumer goods sector.
• Degree in communications, marketing or related field preferred
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing strategies
• Excellent communication and copywriting skills
• Proficiency in AI and design tools (e.g. ChatGpt, Canva,) and social media analytics tools (eg. Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively within a part-time schedule
• Creative and strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with website management platforms (eg. Shopify) and basic SEO principles
• Photo, video, audio skills preferred (content editing tool expertise preferred)
• Creative and passionate about brand building
