Avanti is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Specialist to support our marketing initiatives to drive new member sales and member retention. You will work closely with Avanti’s Head of Sales and sales team and Avanti’s partner marketing agency. You will assist in executing marketing activities that strengthen internal communications, promote Avanti initiatives, and support brand consistency across the organisation.

This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is immediately available and based in the Sunshine Coast area.

Avanti Health Centres are custom designed gyms exclusively for people over 50, featuring a resort style atmosphere that replaces the intimidating environment of commercial gyms with a welcoming, Hamptons meets the seaside feel where members feel safe and supported.

Our exercise physiologists and fitness professionals prescribe evidence based exercise programs tailored to each member's lifestyle and health status, helping them live longer, stay healthier, feel happier, and prevent cognitive decline.

We use specialised air-pressure equipment that starts at just 100 grams of resistance, making strength training accessible to everyone. Beyond exercise, we nurture a strong community because social connection is vital to longevity, and we consider it a privilege to help members feel positive about ageing and add not just years to their lives, but life to their years.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing internal marketing campaigns and member engagement initiatives;
• Assist with graphic design, social media content and digital marketing tasks
• Create and update marketing materials, presentations, newsletters, and internal communications;
• Create engaging organic content ensuring every club submits and continually creates great localised content;
• Maintain Avanti’s website, App and other marketing assets and organize marketing documentation;
• Monitor digital performance across the group;
• Develop engaging content for internal digital platforms, including in-centre screens;
• Support the coordination of events, campaigns, and staff engagement activities;
• Ensure all marketing materials align with Avanti’s brand guidelines

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a proven marketing professional who genuinely enjoys working with people.

You will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing
• Experience using design software
