MARKETING SPECIALIST

Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive Marketing Specialist to join our team in Blythewood, SC. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who excels in a collaborative environment and is passionate about taking ownership of marketing initiatives from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong event planning skills, a strategic approach, and the ability to support both marketing and sales functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, including campaign creation, content development, and email marketing.
  • Lead the planning and execution of events and conferences, including pre- and post-event coordination, promotional item management, and budget tracking.
  • Assist with training events, customer-facing initiatives, and promotional materials to support the sales team.
  • Collaborate on social media strategy and calendar management; support content creation and scheduling.
  • Coordinate print orders (e.g., IMIS literature), maintain quality standards, and manage the print portal for streamlined ordering.
  • Assist with website updates and ensure consistency in content and branding (note: primary website management remains with the Marketing Manager).
  • Engage with collaborators from HR, sales, and external vendors to ensure smooth implementation of marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event planning, including logistics, vendor coordination, and budget management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing software, social media scheduling tools).
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from concept to completion.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional travel for larger events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years as a Marketing Specialist/ Field Specialist role
  • Experience supporting sales teams or working in a B2B environment.
  • Knowledge of print production and literature management.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems.
